New research from Bio-K+® is helping advance scientific understanding of the gut-brain axis and the role of the microbiome in children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Conducted in collaboration with researchers at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre and supported by CIHR, preliminary findings from an ongoing clinical study showed that daily consumption of a Bio-K+® probiotic drinkable was safe and well tolerated, with early observations suggesting potential improvements in GI symptoms, sleep patterns and behavioral outcomes.
